Father Kalbert Achora is from the Diocese of Arua in Uganda and was ordained in 2011.His bishop sent him to Rome for additional studies and last year sent him to the United States to earn an MBA, where he is a student at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.
Before coming to the United States, Father’s bishop told him that he had funds to pay for the schooling in the United States, but he didn’t have funds for the airfare. So, Father Kalbert sold his small car to pay for his airfare and visa. He arrived in the United States with $15 in his pocket.
Because Father Kalbert sold his car to get to the United States for his studies, upon his return to Uganda in May 2025, he needs a personal car to do pastoral work.
